Jojo's week 4

Ni Hao, Buenas dias, guten tag, aloha, you bu say oh, hello!
this week was a TOUGH ONE! it went on forever and i can honestly say that each night i did not go to sleep before 3am. the teachers all got together at the beginning of this semester and decided to have all the papers and exams due this week as a final project BEFORE the final exam. so it's been kinda busy here to say the least.
however, i am so thankful and excited to hear about everything that has been happening at home, all the efforts that the parents are putting in, the youth, SERIOUSLY!! it really makes my heart melt when i hear about everyone helping out! this past week. i also printed out all my mission letters and passed them out to my friends here at biola! They are all super excited for our mission trip as well and hold us in their prayers! Being at biola, I am just one of the few among my friends who are going on mission trips. Some are just going for a few weeks in the summer, and others are taking the rest of the year to serve. If you guys can, please keep my friends in your prayers along with the country they are going to visit:

Melanie and Helen- Paraguay (different teams)
Caroline- Korea
James, Erin, Deborah, Alex- Korea (same team)
Eunice, Brandon- Arizona (different teams)
Darky- Kona, Hawaii (1 semester program)
Grace- Beijing, China (One year program)
Esther- Taiwan (1 semester program)

God is working and really putting a heart of missions in all of us!! :) :)

my friend has a prayer request box in his car, and every time he takes us somewhere, we read a prayer request and pray for that individual and the prayer request on the car ride. The one I picked today was written by my friend. out of everything she could have written about, my friend wanted to be prayed that she could bring light to the world. When reading these passages, it completely reminded me of her prayer request. Especially while we are on the mission field, we are to be the light that shines to everyone else, proclaiming the gospel. Like it was her number one request, it should be our number one  desire to want to share and bring light into our daily lives, into China, into the lives of the youth we are to serve. We are to "shine on those living in darkness" and let "those who come in see the light."

i have been running more hard core now, increasing the incline on the treadmill every time. another good motivation for me to go to the fitness center is because they have TV's in there where i can watch my home boy warriors DOMINATE the court against the spurs XD
the count down is on, see you guys soon!!!
